Víctor Basallote is a director, screenwriter, and producer from Seville, currently based in Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz (Spain). He has eight short films that have been distributed and awarded at various international festivals. He has worked as an assistant director on numerous short films and four feature films.

His previous horror short film, titled “Match,” had an impressive festival run, with 125 selections and 17 awards. “Match” was screened at prestigious festivals such as Mórbido, Feratum, and Popcorn Frights.

He is currently beginning distribution for “Happy,” his new and promising horror short film, and is also developing several feature films and series, including “El Cisma” and “Cuando la oscuridad te envuelve,” among others.
