Genna Edwards is a writer, director, sound engineer, and musician based in Brooklyn, New York. Her work lives at the intersection of horror, punk, and feminist storytelling, challenging the dominant ideology surrounding women and their bodies. 

In 2023 she was a writer in residence at Chateau d’Orquevaux, where she wrote Brian Won't Wear Condoms, her debut short film as writer/director currently on a worldwide festival tour. Her sonic work spans A24, NEON, Netflix, HBO, and the NFL, while her band Mumblecorpse explores female rage through gothic grunge. Outside of a produced stage play, you can find her stories and poems in a variety of magazines, journals, and zines.
